Eli Holley was  the victim of an accident in his youth that left him a paraplegic. He did not want to live but found a greater meaning to life by watching Michael Landon's television shows. He began with "Little House on the Prairie " but eventually watched all of his shows and learned life lessons from them all. This is truly an inspiring testament to the legacy of both men.  Mr. Holley went on to lead a successful life until he passed away in 2017.

1925-2014 Richard Clerico Cindy Father

RICHARD CLERICO OBITUARY

November 30, 1925 - March 17, 2014 Richard Clerico, 88, of Santa Monica, California, passed away after a four-month battle with cancer on March 17, 2014. He was born on November 30, 1925, in Helper, Utah, to Screlda and Albert Clerico. He had one sister, Barbara Clerico. Richard was a Master Sergeant in the US Army during WWII stationed in Germany from 1944 to 1946. In 1956 he married Marilyn Jones also of Price, Utah.

They had one daughter, Cindy Kim Clerico. Richard worked with Regis Philbin and became a California State Police Officer who was assigned a special detail to protect Governor Ronald Reagan, George Deukmejian and Jerry Brown. His work ethic was impeccable. His loyalty, commitment and dedication were unparalleled.

His hobby was collecting rare coins. He was survived by his daughter, Cindy Landon, and his grandchildren, Jennifer and Sean Landon, all of whom reside in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Pierce Brothers in Westlake, California.

1925 - 2005 Michael Landon John Carson Friends Forever

 John William Carson (October 23, 1925 – January 23, 2005) 

was an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is best known as the host of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962–1992). Carson received six Primetime Emmy Awards, the Television Academy's 1980 Governor's Award, and a 1985 Peabody Award. He was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1987. Carson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992 and received a Kennedy Center Honor in 1993.

Carson had three sons with his first wife: Christopher, Cory, and Richard. His middle son, Richard, died on June 21, 1991, when his car plunged down a steep embankment along a paved service road off Highway 1 near Cayucos, California. Apparently, Richard had been taking photographs when the accident occurred. On the first Tonight Show after his son's death, Carson paid tribute to Richard's photographic work by showing his nature slides, while Stevie Ray Vaughan's 1989 song "Riviera Paradise" played in the background. In addition, the final image of the show, as well as some "More to Come" bumpers, of Carson's last show on May 22, 1992, featured a photo Richard had taken. 

On March 19, 1999, Carson suffered a severe heart attack at his home in Malibu, California, and was hospitalized in nearby Santa Monica, where he underwent quadruple-bypass surgery.[
Carson had been a heavy smoker for decades, and in the early days of his tenure on The Tonight Show, often smoked on-camera.

He smoked four packs of Pall Mall cigarettes a day. It was reported that as early as the mid-1970s, he would repeatedly say, "These things are killing me." His younger brother recalled that during their last conversation, Carson kept saying, "Those damn cigarettes."
On January 23, 2005, Carson died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles of respiratory failure arising from emphysema. He was 79, and had revealed his terminal illness to the public in September 2002. His body was cremate

Christopher Landon, de 42 años, hijo del conocido actor Michael Landon, acaba de anunciar a través de Instagram y él y su compañero Cody Morris, son los padres de un hijo que han llamado Beau Landon Morris.
